- Commercial, Industrial, or Third Party systems 30-200 kW: $1.00/W DC – $0.50/W DC for Pacific Power; $1.25/W DC – $0.75/W DC for PGE
- Systems above 200 kW (PGE only) – Commercial, Industrial, or Third Party: $0.75/W DC;
- Nonprofit and Gov’t systems up to 30 kW: $1.25/W DC for Pacific Power; $1.50/W DC for PGE;
- Nonprofit and Gov’t systems 30-200 kW: $1.25/W DC – $0.75/W DC for Pacific Power; $1.50/W DC – $1.00/W DC for PGE
- Maximum Incentive: Residential (Homeowner): $20,000 per site;
- Residential (Third Party): $5,000 per site for Pacific Power; $10,000 per site for PGE;
- Commercial, Industrial, or Third Party (per-site lifetime cap for systems up to 200 kW): $100,000 for Pacific Power ; $600,000 for PGE
- Nonprofit, Gov’t: $150,000 for Pacific Power; $200,000 for PGE
- Eligible System Size: Systems up to 200 kW; Commercial, Industrial, or Third Party systems in PGE territory up to 800 kW
- Equipment Requirements: Systems must be new, UL listed, comply with all applicable standards, and carry a minimum 2-year warranty on parts and labor;
- Inverters must carry a minimum 5-year warranty; panels must carry a minimum 20-year warranty.
- Installation Requirements: Installations must comply with all federal, state, and local codes and meet detailed siting criteria;
- Systems must be grid-connected, net-metered, pre-approved and installed by an approved Energy Trust solar trade ally contractor.
- Ownership of Renewable Energy Credits: RECs generated in the first 5 years are owned by customer/producer. Ownership reverts to Energy Trust for remainder of 20 yrs.
- Program Budget: 2009 Budget: $1.6 million for projects in Pacific Power’s service territory; $6.1 million for projects in PGE’s service territory
