- Applicable Sectors: Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Nonprofit, Schools, Local Government, State Government, Fed. Government, Agricultural, Institutional, Must be a DTE Energy Electric Customer
- Amount: Rebate (new systems): $2.40 per DC watt; reduced for existing systems
- Production Incentive: $0.11 per kWh
- Maximum Incentive: $48,000 (rebate portion)
- Eligible System Size: 1 kW – 20 kW; systems must generally be sized not to exceed on-site energy needs
- Equipment Requirements: PV modules must be CEC listed and have a 20-year warranty; inverters must have a 10-year warranty and be approved by DTE (UL 1741 and IEEE 1547.1 approved inverters may also qualify upon review by DTE engineers); all installations require a generation meter and a 5-year installation warranty
- Installation Requirements: Systems must be grid-tied and net metered; installers must employ a State of Michigan licensed electrician; installations must meet all applicable federal, state, local, and manufacturer’s codes and standards and be installed in accordance with DTE Interconnection Guidelines.
